Wool cover with casing, a new challenge





Well, I tried to make this out of some lovely thick wool I have, with a casing made out of an old sweater. It's not pretty, but it will probably work. I have more wool, so I'll keep trying to get the casing right. It needs some sort of fastener, but I'm out of Aplix for a few days.

Diapers from Maternity Pants







These diapers, a newborn Mamabird pattern, and a medium ottobre were both made from Lila's maternity pants. 97% cotton, 3% spandex. The inner layer is a thick embroidered terry, with loops only on one side. Both have an extra layer of the terry sewn in the center, inside.

Newborn size fitted, Japanese Girl







Newborn-size fitted used the Mamabird pattern. Diaper is stretch knit outer, 2 birds eye flannel layers and terry layer inside. Soaker is 8 layers of an old Gap t-shirt (100% combed cotton) and 2 layers of terry.

Jap an*se Print Dia*per






l Knit, cotton/poly blend outer. 2 layers of birds-eye and one layer of terry in diaper body. Soaker is 2 terry and a bunch of flannel. Hook tape sewn to all inner layers of diaper.
